In last week's group post Susan Weinroth shared a layout from her Project Life album. Since several of our guests and contributors also maintain Project Life albums I wanted to share a little more about them here today AND my dear friend Annette Haring has gifted me a seat in her latest class at Big Picture Classes to giveaway. This is today's treat!!
So, Project Life is a memory-keeping system developed by Becky Higgins and on her site she writes that "Several years ago I had a hard time keeping up with the memory-keeping that I wanted to do. I solved my own problem, developed a system that works, and now Project Life® is available to everyone, everywhere. Project Life provides an ultra-simple solution that helps us get those pictures into albums without draining our time, energy, and wallets. The idea is simple: Photos + memorabilia + journaling together in an album - everything slips into pockets. No requirement to cut or glue or embellish a thing. And yet - the results are stunning. Project Life is back-to-basics scrapbooking at its finest."
Today Susan shares a few detail shots of the layout shared in our group post. For her, Project Life is a way to keep up with sorting and processing of her everyday photos of her family, and maintaining the memories of the little things that she doesn't want to forget >> and it's ultimately an easy place to record it all, in a meaningful way, to look back on later. Let's take a closer look....
To learn more about all of Susan's tricks when it comes to Project Life you can read all the details behind her process here on her blog.
Personally I maintained a Project Life Album in 2011 and 2012 and they are definitely my boys (and my) favorite albums. But like all good long term projects there are some gaps in completion. This is where Annette's class comes in and why I'm signed up!!
Here is a little more about the class :
