I am a woman living amongst a bunch of dudes – my husband of two decades, my three sons, my dog, and a few varmints. I am a woman who enjoys good books, good music, Kauai coffee, regular doses of beachy sunset splendor, bike riding (so long as no hills are involved), waterskiing (so long as the air is warm and the water is smooth), and ROADTRIPPING (so long as I’m not the driver).
HER SIX WORD STORY
Five introverts doing life together, quietly.
ON LIFE WITH BOYS
I don’t have to kill the spiders. I do have to regularly ask (usually right after we all pile into the car), “Who forgot deodorant?” I don’t share my bathroom. And I don’t enter theirs (because, ewww). Friday night movies usually involve lots of bass and explosions and sci-fi plots that fly over my head. But before the movie, I make them watch “Say Yes to the Dress” with me; I tell them it’s so that they can learn what kind of high-maintenance-bridezilla never to bring home to me as a potential daughter-in-law. My dudes and I all speak sarcasm fluently.
